Stop the killing in America....

Seeing a man hung from an old Oak Tree brought back memories as tears streamed from my eyes. LC was a young Black child brought up in the 50's. He recalled such discrimination and hatred against people of color, as he used his handkerchief to wipe away tears. He said ''When is this going to stop?''

"I pray that we can stop the violence amongst our own race by showing love and respect for each other and build up our communities not destroying them."

 LC said, "Today I'm still reminded of the horrific treatment on people of color as I watch a Black man's life taken from him in plain view and many others gunned down by those that are supposed to be protecting us. The saddest thing I know right here, right now. People of color are killing each other everyday. Wake up my young brothers and sisters, this is exactly what they want."

Untold Secret....

 Regina was walking holding her fiance's hand on this cloudy day when suddenly hailstones as big as a golf ball started pounding their bodies, damaging  roofs, cars, and houses. Joseph insisted they find shelter quickly. He said  " This is dangerous, multiple car alarms triggered and people are scrambling for safety and we have no phone service ".

Hiding underneath a highway overpass, Regina discovered that Joseph was bleeding from a cut above his eyebrow. Clinching to her hand tight, she knew he was afraid.He stated " I have never seen anything  like this before, hailstones  as big as a golf ball''. As Joseph was speaking Regina flashed  back to a horrific incident that happened to her two years ago but didn't feel comfortable talking about it."

Joseph  motioned to Regina to tell her story as they were waiting for the storm to pass over. Regina  suddenly turned  her  back to him recalling the horrific nightmare she encountered on her twenty first birthday as she walked home alone from a late night of work. She started....

''Debbie and I normally work the night shift at Brewsters Bar and Grill. We were best friends and lived in a small apartment with shared expenses but on this particular night Debbie was sick and stayed home. The night was great with old time customers that lavished out nice tips. I had made enough money that night compared to a week salary. Elated with my good fortune, I had two drinks before I left early that morning. Strolling down New Amsterdam  Lane  at 5:00 am, playing a sweet melody in my mind I felt I was on top of the world. Then out of nowhere a shadow was upon me.

''A masked man suddenly appeared out from nowhere and pulled me in a alley. I began to struggle , begging and screaming for my life . He struck my right cheek with all his might and wrestled me to the ground. He launch on top of me , I continued to struggle with the masked man as he was tearing my clothing from my body. Daring me to cry out for help . He held a knife to my throat . Stop!Stop!!  I insisted but no response. As his hands glided up and down my middle thighs, I felt his forefingers in my private area . Pleading and crying to the masked man , he struck me again and said " I know you want this . I see you come to this bar every night teasing with all the men, now you are  mine.

''I screamed out for help as he continued to punch me in the face, knocked me nearly unconscious and robbed me of my good fortune.  Lying naked on this cold ground . He then fondled my nipples with his tongue as he penetrated my womanhood, Laying there daze and confused. I couldn't continue to fight any longer and must have passed out. When I woke and looked around wondering whether it was a bad dream. I saw my clothes torn from my body.

''Traumatized by this unholy act running out into the streets half naked looking for anyone for  help. A police officer came to assist me and took me to the hospital. They later got a report after I had settled down . 
''I told Joseph 'I really thought I had put this behind me , but I still see it so vividly as though it just happened'.

Joseph pulled me close and kissed my forehead . He said " We both will go through therapy together and I'm so proud of you that you were able to share this with me. I will always be there for you and protect you always."  Regina gave a sigh of relief , she has never told anyone about what had happened to her that night , not even her best friend. She said " I never wanted to shame my family or friends if this were to be broadcast in the news. I felt that people would look at me differently and whisper . 'Isn't that the girl who was raped?'.

Both Regina and Joseph had weathered the storm and went on to get Therapy. They got  married and had three children. The only thing Regina said to Joseph is " She knew there were other women who are victims out here and hope that they will come forward and seek help. It's not easy keeping a traumatic secret in one's life", as Joseph wiped tears from her eyes.

The unborn....

Jim went home and searched the house frantically, looking for any signs of forced entry or foul play involved when he stumbled on  a pentagon symbol underneath their bed. "What is the meaning of this ?".He dialed up an old friend Dedra who is a psychic to come over. When she alighted from her car, she noticed someone peeping out from  the second floor window , while Jim was beckoning her to come inside from the front porch.

Dedra knew that something evil was in the house and hesitated going in. She never felt an unholy presence like she felt that night.  She  asked " Are you here alone ? I saw someone upstair looking down at me ",Jim responded  " I'm alone, I thought I had informed you that Jamie was in the hospital".  She said," I'm so sorry to hear that. ''How is she ?''. Jim's mouth was porched as he mumbled the words" our baby may be in jeopardy."

Falling down a flight of steps, Jamie hit her head against the wall.  She laid unconscious until her fiance arrived later that evening. When Jim entered the front room he was shocked to see his soon -to -be wife laying at the end of the stairway,he called 911  for help,  then rushed over to hold her as he thought whether their unborn child was still alive in her womb.

The two lovebirds -Jim and Jamie had planned to marry before the baby arrived. They had just moved into a brand new house in the suburbs. Jim wondered how this tragedy happened . The sound of the ambulance pulling up at the  front door made him screamed out . "Please help her , she is pregnant" as the paramedics took vital signs and prepared to escort Jamie to the hospital. 

Jim rode along in the back of the ambulance trying to hold back his tears, this will be his first child and he didn't want to lose either of them. He asked one of the paramedics " Is she going to be okay ?." 
He replied " Her vital signs are stable and no signs of bleeding. We must have her thoroughly checked out at the hospital." Still unresponsive Dr. Micheal ordered a series of test to be performed on her along with and ultra sound of the fetus.

Dr. Micheal informed him that Jamie will have to be admitted for  a few days and advised him  to  go home  and get some rest. Being exhausted from work and mentally drained from constant thought about what could have happened, he decided to go home to relax  before returning in the morning.

As Jim and Dedra walked upstairs to show his master bedroom, a door slammed downstairs, immediately Jim ran to the first floor as Dedra followed. Lights where flicking on and off and suddenly the room became as cold as ice. Dedra shivering said " there is an evil presence in this house . We must leave this house at once ."

Jim refused but stated " I don't believe in ghost or any evil spirit, it's someone that's trying to scare us, but Dedra knew better. As she wanted to leave the house, something grabbed her from behind and slammed her  to the wall, she  screamed  to Jim for help. 

She saw a child in the doorway whose feet were slightly elevated from the floor with a butcher's knife in her hand  with the  teeth like a gator and  fiery eyes  like the devil. ''Run Jim'', Dedra cried, as he  pulled her up from the floor. The two of them ran back upstairs to the master bedroom and locked the door."How do we get out of here?'', Dedra asked. 

Jim tried to break the window in order to escape but was unable to. It was like someone had  played a trick on him by using shatter proof glass. Dedra had never been afraid of anything like this in her life until this night. As she saw the walls etched in blood that reads You will die here, she knew it was their last day in this haunted house.


  Suddenly the bed slid across the room as they watched the Pentagon turn slowly in alignment with it's inscribed markings. 
 Jim held Dedra's  hand tight looking at the horrific figure of the little girl drawing near with the knife.  "What do you want from us?", Jim asked. While dragging the knife over the walls in the room.


   Two more clicks and the gates of Hell would have opened. 
Still standing outside looking up at the second story window Dedra called out to Jim . She said , "Step down off the porch and walk slowly towards me. We need to leave right now from this place. Cut all ties from everyone and never look back'' .
She had never had a vision of this type of evil that Jamie possessed.

How I met my father after 20 years- Lora

Dr.  Williams asked his student Jerome "how is your  science project progressing after teaming up with Lora one of the brightest students in his class?'',  he replied " this project is a very difficult one Sir, Lora and I are having concern finding financial help and volunteers for our research but we are doing our best". Dr. Williams stated  " continue your work, I have faith in both of you ". as he turned to leave the classroom.

 Once class had ended, Lora and Jerome rushed to grab a bite to eat before they started to work on their school project  hidden in the lower part of the school basement. The multitude of tests being done had drained all their financial resources. They had no one else to turn to until Jerome said " Please ask your mother Lora , she has millions , maybe she will loan you at least one hundred thousands dollars." Lora stood in the doorway looking at Jerome . She knew her mother wasn't going to lend her the money. She had bailed her out of so many unfortunate circumstances.

But on this particular night Lora got  the courage to ask her mom Mary to support her with her project and by surprise she said yes , and Lora ran  over to hug her mom. Lora had the biggest smile on her face. She said " Mom I love you , I never thought you would lend me one hundred thousand dollars."
Mary's throat tightened up as she swallowed hard before she spoke…. "One Hundred thousand dollars?.I thought  you only needed a few hundred dollars'', as her mom throat felt parched , ''I need to pour myself a drink" Mary said.


   Lora was the only child Mary had and was willing to do anything for her , but she didn't know how to bring herself to tell her daughter that they were broke and she had been selling off  some of her jewelries to keep things afloat. Looking into her daughter's tearful  eyes she promised  Lora that she would give her the money.

Being ecstatic Lora couldn't wait to inform Jerome of the good news, They met at a coffee shop to discuss their next plan of action which included surgical instruments, Laptops , Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), and Volunteers for their project. It was 3:00 am when they left the coffee shop and stumbled on an  old homeless man named Larry. Jerome asked the man to be  part of his study group and he would pay for his services. Larry agreed but only on one condition " I want my money first young man'',as he turned his alcoholic beverage up to his mouth to drink." Lora was stunned and  told Jerome that Larry wasn't the right man for there experiment.


After sneaking into the Lab after hours. The place brought back memories for Larry. He too was a Professor at this University of Medicine but became homeless after losing his son and wife in a car accident. Lora and Jerome  informed him that they are "working on creating a rapid skin growth for second to third degree burn victims with escalating healing and non detectable skin grafts. and they needed some tissue samples from his upper back and inner thigh areas"


When Jerome was preparing the room for Larry he was still thanking Lora for her mother's contribution. When Larry heard her name , he looked at Lora and wondered  she could  be his daughter. He then called Lora over to assist him with shaving his legs . He asked  " what is your mother's full name and how old are you ?''. Not giving it a thought she told him, grabbing her hand and pulled  her up to his eye level he called " my baby girl Lora " Her heart started beating rapidly and she broke out into a deep sweat. She said slowly ''D-a-d-d-y''... Larry had left  Lora's mom and her when she was only seven years' old and never heard from him again.

Jerome rushed over from preparing his laptop to show charts and graphs of the data needed to support their project when Lora sobbed... She stated " I thought you were dead , all of those days I stood in the doorway looking for you to come back and you never did". He said " I was a married man when me and your mom conceived you. I couldn't stay ,and after I lost my wife and son . I had no reason to live any longer  I'm so sorry for not trying to contact you ."



Larry realized that if they succeed in their project , they will save millions of people for being scared for life over their body from second to third degree burns. He decided to assist them in their project .After two years of supported data along with Volunteers they  became World renowned  scientists with great respect and wealth all over the world. Lora's father advised  his daughter and now son-in -law   "Never Give Up On Your Dream!".

A Leap of Faith....

Julia jumped off the side off a cliff, this was her first time hand gliding alone. She had been on so many trips with her husband Kevin trying to help her get the hang of it , when one of her best friends Donna video the whole thing to show to her family and friends. Soaring high in the sky she remember this special moment looking out beyond the horizon.

Donna her best friend narrated on when Julia first started hand gliding by capturing her saying this in a video.

Panic and fear set in when Julia first started, watching others falling suddenly at taking -off or  crashing when landing. What was the enjoyment of this sport she thought, but Kevin would gently ease her fears by saying " You can do this , I'm right by your side, I won't let anything happen to you."

Happily in love both Kevin and Julia remembered when they first met and how he proposed to her in Las Vegas where they had the time of their lives. She was there with some of her friends gambling , drinking and just having fun when Kevin spotted her leant over throwing dice on the table calling for seven or eleven. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He knew she was his life and the woman of his dream.

As he approached the crap table, Julia blew on the dice and her eyes locked with Kevin. A long pause took place as they starred at each other , when suddenly a man yelled out, throw the dice and broke her spell. Kevin had taken out one hundred dollars to place a bet . He bet everything on Julia's roll as the dice rolled across the table. His heart pounded everytime she looked over at him. Seven was announced and they won.

He collected his winnings and gave her while Julia took it without hesitation. This was his time to ask for her name and could he have her phone number. Before she could speak her friend Joyce said " The party bus is here it's time to go ", Joyce grabbed  her hand and pulled  her away from the gambling table. Kevin had collected all her winning and ran after them.That was when Julia invited him to join them.

Music was blasting as girls were  half -naked and  sliding up and down on a stripers' pole. Kevin didn't know what to do with himself.  His only concern was Julia and how he could  know her better. Seeing men throwing money around and smoking marijuana as he tried to approach the woman who captivated his heart. Where was she, he wondered in the smoke filled bus, but standing behind him she whispered in his ear, " Are you having fun yet ?" as she handed him a drink.

Dancing around him and teasing with him, Julia was interested in getting to know him as well, with long beautiful brown hair standing six feet tall and high cheek bone , she could have been a model. The bus pulled up to their hotel after driving around town for hours. While exiting the bus they both  took a stroll down the Las Vegas Strip to talk and came  across a little boutique where   Kevin purchased a ring without her knowledge as she went to try on a dress in the store. 

 He waited patiently and as Julia came out from the dressing room  he lifted her up and twirled her around and asked " Will you marry me " She  too replied  "why not! Let's get married right now." Often she would tell her family and friends that she was tired of  loneliness . Now she met her perfect man, this young handsome man that she adored asked her hand in marriage.


 Looking for the right dress for the occasion. Kevin couldn't believe she said ''.... Yes!''. Pacing up and down the store, he was in disbelief.  He uttered  "She said yes", he clasped his hands together and went on his knees, he prayed first and said, "God please don't let her change her mind, I love her and want to marry her with all my heart. "

Coming out of the dressing room , Kevin raised his head up and looked at  her angelic face. ''Will you marry me?'',  as he held her hand. Julia looked  down at Kevin, spewed vomit all over him and laughed aloud and still said ''Yes''. This was one awkward moment for Kevin and needless to say he didn't care about what just happen. He was elated with the beauty of his future bride to- be even in her drunken state. 

After purchasing a new suit and cleaning up the terrible mess Julia made , they found a lovely little Chapel and got married.
 It was love at first sight. They went on to have two beautiful children and enjoyed traveling with family and friends, as she flew high amongst the clouds.

Thrills and Spills in Florida.....

When we arrived in Florida, my sister Renata said "Let's go shopping ". I didn't know I would end up in Florida for this wonderful shopping spree event for my aim was to go for tourism. Let's listen to Jai take in the video below on his experience in Florida.

Often times I hear how beautiful Orlando , Miami and Tampa are from tourists that visit. Margret said " Disney World and Universal Studio is the best place to visit, It's family oriented and the rides are awesome ".While Daniel said that Miami Beach and Daytona Beach is a must see with a diverse group of people , music, drinks and live events that take place. There's never a dull moment."


But Henry has a different take as he looked down at the ground and paused a minute and shook his head full of pity and regret before he spoke. In tears he lamented  " I have lost so many things here such as my home in which my daughter resided and good friends from Hurricane Irma. It's still hard remembering what I lost , but still unwilling to move away from this great State of Florida.

We too have suffered....

It was  in 1939 when Gloria and her mother Anna tried to escape from her native homeland Germany. It was to many bad memories for those who struggled daily for their freedom being of Jewish decent. Many were maimed, suffered and died while some escaped the wrath of evil that loomed over their native country.

Gloria along with her mother Anna , son Neil and husband Liam  fled for their lives. Many were captured, separated, raped and brutally beaten by the Nazi. It was on this day when Liam who had watched this one guard for days working alone before he mustered up courage and strength to attacked him ,tied him up and then took off his uniform to wear. He walked right out of the courtyard, were he was bound.

Liam in army uniform looked for his wife and child as he gained  access to other holding camps for prisoners. Nobody demanded from him any papers as he went into the concentration camps and found his wife and son barely alive. He had lied to the other guards that Hitler himself wanted these two for questioning.  

As they put his unconscious wife and son into the back of the truck, his son Neil heard his father's voice and cried out Pa.. pa.. trying to open one of his badly beaten closed eye to confirm it was his dad. The guard became suspicious and then asked , " where are  your papers to release this woman and her child,?" Frantically Liam brought out his Jack knife and stabbed the Guard.

Liam jumped into the truck and sped off with blood still on his hands as his wife and child laid near death in the back. He came across a little shack in the woods where he nurtured his family back to health. His wife said  " Anna didn't make it , they beat her to death and threw her body in a ditch.  I couldn't stop it, I tried to stop it, when they struck me with a bat and knocked me into unconsciousness".

Liam knew they couldn't stay long at this place , He ditched the truck and all of them travelled by foot, still in the officer's uniform he thought it will deceive them as they went to cross the border.As they came near a junction he asked his family to hide in a bush. The uniform on him gave him confidence to approach and speak with the officers.  Liam asked for a smoke as the guard informed him they where looking for an escape woman and child. His hands started to shake when other guards  arrived. He knew he must make a mad dash from this place.

One of the guards asked him what regiment was he from  He replied'' the Gestapo'',  while all the guards looked at each other and laughed . One guard said ''we are all from the Gestapo''. When Liam turned to run back into the woods the Guards chased  him like a mad dog and  were shooting at him , all he could manage to say as he ran through the woods was R-U-N-. If his family could make it across the state line they would be safe .

Immediately his family took off and ran towards the border , they were just about to cross the state line when Neil was tackled by a guard , his mother shouted " Let go of him," as she jumped on the officer's back. Liam had heard her tormented voice and circled around to go helped them. He kicked and punched the officer's legs and face. Neil had broken away, his mother grabbed his arm to continue to run but looked back at her husband that was now fighting two officers. 

Gloria told her son to wait here until she comes back. Gloria couldn't imagine her life without her husband so she ran back to help him. Picking up a stone she bashed one of the guards on the head as Neil stabbed the other. They could hear more guards approaching . She shouted " We must leave now", carrying his son on his back Liam made it close to the border . He had to stop to compose himself as he went to speak to the Officers who protect the state line.  He knew he didn't have any legal documents to present but managed to get them to go inside to make a phone call.

As they went inside his wife and child crawled through a partial wooded area across the border, having seen that they were cleared and sighted they were brewing hot water on the stove to make tea or coffee. He then walked over to the kettle and flung the hot water at the officers . He jumped out of the side window and running to make it across the border, he was shot in the back. 

 Gloria and her son dragged him nearly a mile before someone came to help. She removed the uniform he was wearing to make it seemed like he was shot by accident when hunting for Game. Someone from town came across them and gave them a ride to the nearest doctor's office. The Hell they all went through and to lose her mother, she was praying to God that her husband will pull through. Days later Liam started to speak and held his wife's hand. He muttered these words" We Are Free."

 Passing by the cemetery my head began to swell, I could not talk again while everywhere seemed to be bright and I could not move an inch .Suddenly I saw a man in white that passed me bye in a flash, this was Anita's experience of a ghost .
Kenny Ray who lives very close to the cemetery narrated his own experience in the video above''..........


 I had always been afraid of scary things as a young child growing up such as cemeteries, horror films, and things that go bump in the night and that's because I was left alone in the house as a teenagers while my parents worked Debra replied. I would hear strange sounds throughout the house and when I washed clothes in the basement especially at night . The hair will stand up on my arms and things would drop on the floor. I seen things that would drop on there own, I ran upstairs and suddenly closed the door and put a chair underneath the handle.I called my mother immediately and she would say " girl your mind is just playing tricks on you. Don't worry I will be home soon." 

Debra said, " I carry this same fear of going downstairs to this day. When I'm alone at home and want to go to the basement.
I usually call one of my friends to talk with as I entered the room." It's a shame you're afraid to go down in your own basement "Nora replied, as she chuckled. 

 Nancy stated "The killer part is when I saw the Exorcist for the first time alone in my apartment with the lights out and eating popcorn,  I watched the young girl head turned all around looking like a devil . I was shaking but continued to watch  and covered my eyes with my hands and peeping through my fingers.That was the last draw because it really scared me and I refused to watch again.
 I believe there is good as well as evil in this world that come in all forms and fashion."





  

A Trip To Hell

 Lightening struck a tree in the forest just in front of Kathy, that was when she knew she should have stayed home. A group of her co-workers convinced her to go on a camping trip but she never thought it would be a trip to Hell.

On this particular rainy day Kathy, Frank, John and Micheal went on a camping trip. This was Kathy first time ever going. She had never seen or heard  of so many different insects , snakes , raccoons, and strange sounds before in her life. Clinging to John's hand she was definitely afraid.  John said " you're squeezing my hand a little too tight , it's becoming numb " .Kathy laughed and said" I'm so sorry "and released her grip.

Micheal who was the  tour guide was 500 feet ahead of us looking for a good place to camp out. The fog made it impossible to see ahead of us ,as we stumbled through the woods. Frank called out to Micheal and John but no response . He had ventured off from the group and was lost. " I can't see a thing ahead of me he stated, where is everyone he thought as he still search for someone in the group?''

Thunder roared over the mountains as John and I climbed to higher ground. Still standing by John side I became nervous. I watched him take his walkie -talkie out and called Micheal and Frank, no reply. He then said  "  It will be dark soon ,we will camp here . Let's set-up the tents now."

With my shaking hands I pulled my back pack off and begin to do what John instructed, suddenly I caught a glimpse of an object appeared  to be approaching us slowly. It was Frank, he was hurt. He said we should pack up our things right now  and should  leave the place at once.  John quickly grabbed him to keep him from falling to the ground.

In a panic state ''I said let's go please''. I was already frightened and to see Frank like this , what could have happen? Frank uttered two words ''they live''. ''Where is Micheal?'' Frank asked John? No one has seen or heard from him. As they were trying to find their way back to the car darkness fell upon them, they only had small flashlights as they continued to wander through the rainy forest.

Cold and wet Kathy suddenly stood still , She insisted she couldn't move another step , crying out for help the sound echoed through the woods, ''Where is Micheal?'', she asked John . When a strange presence she felt drew near . That was when Micheal bloody body was tossed in front of them. 

Run , Frank said , but Kathy went to help Micheal who was already dead, rain still pouring and the wind was high. She could barely see anything in the dark, but a ghost -like figure standing near a tree with smoke looming around him.Wiping her eyes to see more clearly as she hovered over Micheal , The shadowy figure disappeared. 

Micheal had cut marks in his face and chest and his head was bashed in by some type of heavy object and clothing torn from his lifeless body. She motioned to run when something grabbed her by her hair and dragged her through the woods. Kicking and screaming she couldn't see what had taken her.

Hearing her screams, John and Frank followed the sounds through the forest and came across the most horrific scene , There were people found dead hanging upside down from trees in the forest, some of them were still alive and were being eaten by what appeared to be some type of Alien with razor sharp teeth, and thin pale body with armour attached to it. 

It had just threw Kathy up against a rock and knocked her unconscious as it laid to prey on her for his last super. John and Frank circled the scene trying to rescue Kathy. Frank was spotted by the creature, running through the woods as the creature followed him . John made his move to save Kathy, picking her up and carrying her to safer grounds as the rain still poured. He found a cave and went inside for shelter.

Holding her in his arms all night he wanted to protect her at all cost. They stayed there until the next morning and she began to awake and mutter his name ,Looking down in her angelic face he knew he loved her and had to get her to safety quickly.

 As they left the cave and stumbled through the woods . They came across Frank body. He had been torn into shreds. Covering her mouth with his hands John didn't want her to make any loud sounds to bring attention to them as they were trying to get out.

Finally they came across an old path that  led to the road .They were almost home ,free ,when the alien crawled down a tree in front of there path. The alien had been following them from  the top of the trees  since they left. John pushed Kathy back behind him. 


Standing eight feet tall, mangled body with gator -like skin and piercing teeth. John knew he was going to fight to  death with this creature from Hell. Then Kathy took from her backpack a small bottle of kerosene and emptied  it on the creature. John took the lighter from his pocket, lit it and threw it toward the beast and set it on fire.The horrible screeching noise the creature made. A sound no man has ever heard before, as it squirmish to put the fire out. Finding the  strength to run directly to the road ahead of them . A car was coming and they flagged it down. Jumping inside they told the driver to drive fast that someone was trying to kill them.
